Try one of these fun Alzheimer’s themed Chalk Art projects, a perfect activity for your children, family, friends, and neighbors. There are four different images in four different grid patterns to choose from. Feel free to download any or all of them, all we ask is that if you do download one of them you consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association here. You can even turn this into your own fundraising project by asking for donations to participate in completing the chalk art project.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Choose a drawing.
- Decide what grid configuration you want – 4, 16, 36 or 64
- Draw the grid of the image chosen. Each space is a square.
- Label the top of the grid with number system and the side of the grid with letter system.
5 Enlarge the small picture by copying one square in the grid pattern at a time. See if you can make your big drawing an almost exact copy of the small one!
When your finished please post a picture on your social media pages with the hash tags “#ENDALZ #THELONGESTDAY #ALZCHALKART”.
